Big Blue Door is an open source digital agency that has been delivering transformational services across the public sector for over 10 years. Our company and our work are fully transparent, so that we become part of your team. We invest as much time in educating you about your products, and the best ways to use them, as we do developing them. We work with a wide range of clients including central government, local government, charities, the NHS, Emergency Services, cultural organisations and the voluntary sector. All our services meet the Government Digital Services Service Standard, and we adopt principles from the service manual wherever possible. We have passed a number of NHSX and GDS service assessments, and work to the latest accessibility guidelines. Our delivery frameworks include Drupal, WordPress and Wagtail - this website is built with Strapi. We primarily use Amazon Web Services for hosting. Our distributed team is split across the UK, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Portugal, and Ukraine, and all team members can work remotely when they wish. We operate flexible working practices. We do not use zero hour contracts and never will.
